Solutions

The same platform. Three very different jobs

A museum, a municipality and a manufacturer use the same core functions - but they need quite different things on top. These are the three areas we work in most.

HERITAGE

Museums and archives

Preservation and public access

Digital cultural heritage has to be preserved properly and get out into the world. We build solutions where cataloguing is quick enough that it actually gets done, and where the public portal is good enough that citizens, students and researchers find what they are looking for on their own.

Fast cataloguing
Metadata on subject, dating and rights goes on without slowing the work down, even at volume.
A public portal
A public portal where visitors can search, zoom into the detail and download files - it should look good and be easy to use.
Controlled access
You decide what is shown, what can be downloaded, and what carries a watermark.
Geolocation
GPS coordinates on records open another way in: search the map, find what is nearby.
Sync with the collection system
Attention Museum Synchronizer keeps Fylr and your collection management in step - imdas pro and MuseumPlus/Zetcom RIA.

PUBLIC

Public administration

One view across departments

Public bodies hold large volumes of images, video, drawings and case documentation that several departments need to find, without it being open to everyone. Our DAM solutions are used by a range of public administrations and institutions.

One place to look
Communications, technical services and administration draw on the same material instead of separate folders.
Drawing archives and case files
The file types that are not marketing images belong in the media bank too.
GDPR and data security
Rights management and documented access control, so personal data is handled properly.
Working across boundaries
Share with external suppliers and the press without opening the whole archive.

BUSINESS

Business

From media bank to market

For a company, DAM is usually the link between the people producing material and the channels it has to reach. The value lies as much in what happens automatically as in the archive itself.

Brand control
Only approved material is available - expired images and campaigns drop out of circulation.
Automatic distribution
New images land in the web shop, PIM and CMS without anyone moving them by hand.
Formats on demand
Crops and file formats are generated at download, so you are not storing fifteen versions of one image.
Rights on the file
Expiry dates on model releases and licensed images, so you stop using material you no longer may.

Getting started

We stay with the project the whole way

DAM projects rarely fail on the technology. They fail when the need was never described, or when the users were never brought along. So we stay with the project through every phase.

01 — Analysis and requirements
The need almost always has a small twist to it - for instance that the solution also has to deliver data to the rest of the company's systems. We help get the actual need described and turned into a clear requirements specification before anything is installed.
02 — Installation and customisation
You should get full value from the system on day one, so it is tuned to your working day: the web portal set up to look like you, rules for user access, download formats, and the cataloguing fields you actually use.
03 — Training
It matters to us that users are properly helped on their way. We teach on site, individually and in groups, and shape the training around job function - built on more than 25 years of knowing where things usually stall.
04 — Support
Help is no further away than a phone call or an email. We offer both ad hoc support and SLA agreements with a guaranteed response time on technical issues.

More about Attention

Shall we take a look at your files?

An informal meeting is usually the fastest way to find out whether a DAM makes sense for you - and what it would take.
